Which points do I measure?

How tight should the tape be?
Snug but not compressing. Don’t pull the tape so tight that it squeezes fur or skin.
Do I measure over fur?
Yes, but don’t compress the fur. Keep the tape flush for accuracy.
My dog won’t stand still — what should I do?
Have a helper, use treats, or measure when your dog is calm. If needed, repeat the process for accuracy.
Do I measure left and right legs differently?
No, the process is the same. Please specify which leg needs the brace.
What about puppies or seniors?
Puppies may need remeasurement as they grow. Seniors may require extra comfort checks.
Can you check my measurements before I order?
Yes, if you don't feel confident with your measurements send us an email and we will do a video call together to measure your dog
Can I upload my vet report or X-rays?
Yes, you can upload supporting documents with your order through photographs
Can I change my order after submitting?
Yes, within 24 hours of purchase. After that, production begins. Send us an email with your order number and adjustments needed.
Do you offer rush production?
No, not at this time.
Do colours affect function?
No, all colour choices are cosmetic only.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and other major cards.
Do you accept multiple currencies?
We can accept all major currency transactions however final bill will be in GBP
How long is production?
7–10 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide.
Who pays duties/taxes?
All duties and taxes are covered by Wuvra — no extra fees at delivery.
What if my parcel is late, lost, or damaged?
Contact support and we’ll investigate or replace as needed.
What should the first fit look like?
The brace should be snug but not restrictive. See our training videos for more information
The brace slips — what should I do?
Check strap tightness, adjust evenly, and review the fitting video.
My dog is chewing the straps.
Use a sleeve or monitor during wear. Replacement straps are available.
Can I use it with a harness or e-collar?
Yes, most harnesses are compatible
How many hours per day should my dog wear it at first?
Start with no more than 1 hour, gradually increase based on comfort.
Can my dog run or play?
Yes, after a break-in period. Avoid intense activity until your vet approves.
Are stairs safe?
Yes, but supervise initially.
Can my dog swim with it?
swimming is not recommended
Can my dog sleep in the brace?
Short naps are fine. Overnight wear is not advised unless directed by a vet.
How often should I clean the brace?
Weekly, or more often if dirty.
Which detergents are safe?
Mild soap and cool water only. Avoid harsh chemicals.
How do I clean the pads and straps?
They can directly go into the washing machine
How do I order replacement parts?

When should I not use the brace?
Do not use on open wounds, infections, or severe swelling.
Is it safe post-surgery?
Yes, but only once your vet approves.
What if my dog has a material allergy?
Stop use immediately and contact us. Our braces are latex-free.
How long until I see improvement?
Every case differs, but many dogs show improvement within weeks.
What if limping worsens?
Stop use and consult your vet.
Can I share progress videos for review?
Yes, our team can assess fit remotely.
What sizes are available?
We make braces for dogs from 1kg to 65kg+.
What materials are used?
Breathable padding, reinforced stitching, alloy hinges, latex-free straps.
Are they eco-friendly?
We incorporate recyclable materials where possible.
What does the 120-day strap warranty cover?
Free replacement straps for normal wear.
What’s not covered?
Damage from chewing, misuse, or incorrect measurements.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are not possible if incorrect measurements are provided.

Can I upload photos for support?

Is the brace vet-approved?
It is informed by veterinary expertise but is not a medical device replacement.
Do I need a vet diagnosis first?
We recommend consultation with a vet before ordering.
Does this replace surgery or medication?
No — it is a supportive device, not a substitute for treatment.
Can it be used on dogs with amputations?
Yes, but only under veterinary guidance.
What about very short-leg breeds?
Yes, we can adapt braces with precise measurements.
